Kids yoga is all fun & games! How else do kids learn, right!? Studies show that kids need interactive play in their learning environment. The University of California, Davis says “Toys are fun, but toys are also tools that help children learn about themselves and the world around them. Play is critical to the healthy growth and development of children. As children play, they learn to solve problems, to get along with others and to develop the fine and gross motor skills needed to grow and learn.”If you saw my last post you saw I AM THAT I AM. This is a game that I created & designed then collaborated with @groundedkidsyoga.
I AM THAT I AM is a fun & engaging game that teaches children to be self-aware. Playing the game reinforces the understanding that feelings are fluid, that what we think impacts how we feel and moving the body helps move our emotions.
