Snowball breath

In my classes we always practice mindful breathing. Mindful breathing helps children to learn to regulate their breath. There are many ways to teach children mindful breathing. Every season I find a fun creative way to incorporate this technique into my classes.

Try snowball breath. ❄️❄️❄️

You’ll need:

•cotton balls

Give each child a cotton ball & have them imagine it’s a snowball. Ask them to go to the end of their mat with the cotton ball and blow the cotton ball down to the end of their mat.

This is a fun and interactive way to teach them mindful breathing.

Breathe!

Have fun!

Be playful!!
